What is Teens Teach?
Teens teach is a collaboration project through Prevention Consultants of Missouri (PCM), Drug Free Communities (DFC) and area school districts. They provide training, presentations, scripts, and outlines for high school students to teach substance use prevention to their peers, grades 6th-8th. Lessons include Vaping/THC +Wellness and Alcohol + Wellness.
What are the requirements?
Schools will select students, form teams and send students to the training session.
Selected students are expected to attend one of the initial training sessions:
- Wed. September 17, 2025 from 9am – 2pm @ Greentree Church – 800 Greentree Rd. Rolla, MO 65401
PCM and DFC provide the students with their presentations, scripts, outlines.
Students choose their 3-4 person team with their sponsor (typically a school counselor).
These teams will set their own practice/meeting schedule. Teams are required to present to classrooms 4 times during the school year.
