Executive Director

Jamie Myers, M.Ed, LPC, NCC, MACSAPP Working in the prevention field since 1990, Jamie Myers has provided leadership as the executive director of Prevention Consultants of Missouri since its inception in 1993. His work includes providing evidence-based training, strengthening prevention coalitions, establishing collaborative programs, and administrative leadership for all agency services. In addition, his professional experience includes working as a licensed professional counselor in the behavioral health field. Supporting the positive efforts of community coalitions, professional organizations, families, and individuals is the emphasis of his prevention work. He is an accomplished trainer, teacher, and counselor. He has led the successful development and implementation of multiple programs and services in many communities created from proposals and applications he has authored.

COORDINATOR OF EDUCATION & TRAINING

Mary Beth Myers, Ph.D, MACSAPP Mary Beth Myers is the Coordinator of Education and Training at Prevention Consultants of Missouri. She received a doctoral degree from the California School of Professional Psychology. Her research in the areas of women and self-esteem and women and victimology has been published in professional and educational journals as well as in popular literature. She has been working in the field since 1978 Dr. Myers has many years of teaching experience in the social sciences as well as providing professional development workshops and training. She specializes in communication, self-esteem, parenting, children's issues, suicide prevention, child sexual abuse prevention, and the psychology of women. She is available to do multiple workshops and training for agencies, schools, businesses, churches, and other organizations. In addition to her work at Prevention Consultants of Missouri, Mary Beth is an instructor at Drury University and Webster University. She is the mother of two children.

PREVENTION MEDIA SPECIALIST

Endi Rolufs, MPS Endi is a Prevention Media Specialist with Prevention Consultants of Missouri. She graduated from Columbia College with a bachelor's in marketing in December 2023. Endi started at Prevention Specialists in February 2024. Endi is certified to facilitate Youth Mental Health First Aid. Endi enjoys spending time with her family outdoors, attending soccer games, and traveling.

PREVENTION PROJECT SPECIALIST

Linda Kozlowski, MPS Linda graduated from Drury University in 2009 with a BS in psychology. She is also credentialed as a Missouri Recovery Support Specialist (MRSS) and Medication-Assisted Recovery Specialist (MARS). Linda has worked in the public housing sector as well as public health and has spent the last 10 years working primarily with youth and families. Linda joined Prevention Consultants of Missouri in 2016, coordinating and facilitating the “Teen Outreach Program,” and began full-time employment with the team in 2021. Linda works closely with Phelps County Child Advocacy Network (PCCAN) and Drug-Free Communities Task Force (DFC) and Phelps County schools to provide trainings and tools that improve and enrich adolescent health outcomes. In her free time, Linda enjoys fishing, chicken farming, and spending time with family, friends, and pets.

PREVENTION CONSULTANT

Kadie Steska, M.Ed., PLPC, MPS Kadie Steska serves as a Prevention Consultant for Missouri, supporting communities in Washington, Iron, and St. Francois Counties. With a background as a high school English teacher and 6–12 school counselor, Kadie brings both educational and mental health expertise to her work. She also serves as the Marketing Director and Youth Coordinator for the Iron County Health Coalition. Kadie holds a Master’s in Education in School Counseling, has crisis intervention training, and is currently working toward full licensure as an LPC. Outside of her professional work, Kadie enjoys traveling, camping, gardening, and getting lost in a good book.

PREVENTION COORDINATOR

Olivia Hunt MPS, CHES Olivia has been working as a Prevention Coordinator for Compass Health Network since 2021. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Science with a concentration in Community, Public, and Worksite Health from Truman State University in 2019. Olivia is a Missouri Prevention Specialist and a Certified Health Education Specialist. She is also certified to facilitate Adult , Youth, and Teen Mental Health First Aid, Question, Persuade, and Refer, Catch My Breath, Too Good for Drugs, and various other evidence-based programs.

Outside of work, Olivia loves spending time with her fiancé, friends, and family. She enjoys reading, cooking/baking, Friday night games, and going to the movies.

PREVENTION COORDINATOR

Jamee Benavidez, MPS Jamee Benavidez has been with Compass Health Network since 2021 and currently serves as a Prevention Coordinator. She graduated from Columbia College in 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services. Jamee’s favorite part of her work is the opportunity to build relationships and connect with people and communities. She enjoys getting to know the people she works alongside, learning what matters most to each community, and helping connect them with the tools, resources, and support they need to turn their ideas into action. She is trained to facilitate Teen, Youth, and Adult Mental Health First Aid, QPR, Too Good for Drugs, and several other evidence-based programs.

Outside of work, Jamee is a mom to two little ones and has three dogs who are very much part of the family. She loves spending time with the people she loves and finding joy in the everyday moments, like catching a good sunset. Jamee is a big believer in the simple things in life and finds that some of the best moments are the ones spent making memories, laughing with her family, and simply enjoying the moment.
